New MLM Freedom 2010…

New Year’s Resolutions Are Not Enough For You To Get MLM Success In 2010

A New Year’s promise packed with key MLM principles and the right action steps is your key to receiving a breakthrough in your home based business

January is the highest recruiting month in MLM. Do you currently have what it takes to make January your highest recruiting month? Do you currently have what it takes to add 1, 2, or 3 ZEROS on the end of your current bank account balance? Once you read this article, you will have clear, concise answers to these questions and you will have a clear, concise focus. Your focus will be so clear and concise, you’ll be “unrecruitable” – what I mean by this is you will not be hopping from one MLM company to another, you will not be “supposedly building” 2, 3, 4 MLMs at the same time (making little money to none), you will not be overwhelmed or lost. You will know exactly what ONE company is the ONE FOR YOU, you’ll know exactly what you’re about, what drives you, what your goals are and how to get them.

Core Value Match – Mark Yarnell, author of Your First Year In Network Marketing discussed the importance of the core value match on one of my webinars. This isn’t something you here about a lot, even though it can make or break your MLM success. If your mlm doesn’t match with your core values, you will experience the law of unintended consequences and unconsciously sabotage yourself – make no money, destroy relationships, harm your character or do something else stupid to sabotage yourself, your business, and your money.

How do you know your MLM matches with your core values? You’ll know if you have the core value match by asking yourself a few questions…

  1. Is your mlm such a life saver and life changer you would be proud to recruit your mama into your MLM even if she was sick and living on her last social security dime?
  2. Are you selling overpriced products that are mainly bought for the sake of Autoship…because no one would pay for these overpriced products when they could easily get them for 50% off at the health food store or wholesale club.
  3. Did you choose your MLM only to make money?
  4. Or are you in MLM because you consciously chose an MLM business that’s in harmony with your values, your business savviness, your goals and most of all the code you live by?

The Right Company – Decide which market segment would be right for you. For instance, someone told me about an MLM that sells maxi pads and I instantly knew this wasn’t for me. First of all I wouldn’t want to have such a small market share to begin with because men are out, women over a certain age are out, and people who are turned off by this type of market segment are also out. Now that I think about it, the market that uses this product only uses it several days a month. There just isn’t enough money or market share for me.

How do you determine an MLM company is the right company for your MLM success? Your company matters! Ask yourself these questions…

  1. Does the company have awesome leaders on the corporate level with known entrepreneurial success?Has the company leadership built multi-million and billion dollar companies before?
  2. Is the compensation plan competitive to most of the compensations plans out there and is it clear enough for you to work from your income goals backwards? For instance, if your goal is $20,000 per month is it easy to see how to get there. Most compensation plans payout at 42% – 50%. Does your company payout more?
  3. Is the market segment saturated or could it easily become saturated? Can the product or service be easily duplicated? Can another company create or manufacture a similar product or service with their own twist on it?
  4. Are people already using your product or a similar product? If yes, this means you gotta work even harder to convince them to switch to using your product.
  5. Does the service or product have a wide market share – everyone uses it, everywhere? Does the company have global coverage? Remember the maxi pad example had a small market share.
  6. Does the company offer more value than what you pay for the product? Remember the overpriced product example? Think about any “superpower fruit” MLM juice” that costs $40 or $50 bucks when it’s at the health food store for $20 bucks.
  7. Does the company have a high retention rate? The average MLM retention rate is 15%, which means for every 100 relationships you create, you’ll get 85 breakups!

The Right You-  Are you ready to leave off all of your past limitations and start receiving the wealth and prosperity you deserve…

  1. Are you investing in your self development and personal growth. How many books, cds, and mp3s do you read, listen to, and implement in your daily life?
  2. Are you free of toxic, negative, and unfulfilling relationships. If not, when is now a good time?
  3. Are you taking care of yourself and loving yourself? How is your diet, physical activity level, spiritual growth and emotional health?
  4. Are you using a MLM training and attraction marketing system for your business and your team? A powerful system can change your life, save you 100s of hours, and give you serious momentum.
  5. Are you marketing and prospecting effectively? Consider hiring a personal coach to show you how to use the power of language, the power of asking, and the power of closing.
  6. Do you have a great support system – mentor, personal coach, supportive and encouraging friends, family, and inner circle?
