MLM Success – Review Of Feeding A Giant By Robert Crisp Part 2

Feeding A Giant, by Robert Crisp is the “Think And Grow Rich” guide for network marketers who are serious about becoming true leaders and achieving MLM marketing success.

If you haven’t read Part One of this review, read it first because Principles one and two are the foundation for your success.

Principle #3 – MLM Marketing Success Depends On Relationship Building 101

Relationship building 101, healthy lifestyle 101, and financial freedom 101 are not taught in school. There’s no wonder that the top 10 problems most people deal with fall into one or all of these categories. New people on your team, especially newcomers to the MLM industry without past sales experience will benefit more in the long run by focusing on relationship building, training, and marketing skills instead of product knowledge and selling products. I believe this is the reason there are so many sellers and peddlers in our industry. It is ridiculous for someone to pitch you on their once in a lifetime opportunity on the first contact before connecting and finding out anything about you. Unfortunately, this is what happens without marketing skills and relationship skills. Your business success is dependent upon you mastering strong relationship building skills with your downline and wholesale customer base. This means you’ll learn how to ask great questions, how to connect with different personality types, and how to inspire and empower people to make a decision to get started in your business today. Learning the power of asking, connecting, and closing are the 3 keys to building strong relationships with your team.

Principle #4 – Feed Yourself First!

Every 7 figure earner I know in the MLM industry is an avid reader and personal growth addict. The 7 figure earners I know listen to a small amount of music in comparison to listening to cds and mp3s on personal growth and marketing. They watch little t.v. in comparison to watching personal growth dvds and news shows that focus on finances and business technology. Find the best educational and personal growth materials by choosing to learn from successful millionaires who have been there, done that. During your “growth spurt,” talk less and listen more, read, contemplate, check your ego at the door, hold yourself accountable, forget about your past limitations, forget about the past miseducation, and empty your tea cup so you can fill it up with the best stuff. Positive thinking isn’t enough. True personal growth also means thinking big and taking big actions. The best of the best will inspire you and empower you to believe in yourself like never before. Be patient with the process. You’ll know you’re getting somewhere when you start feeling yourself. You’ll feel you got your swag back. Without it you will have a serious challenge getting a large number of people to follow you and join your business. This swag is a major attractor factor and is key to your MLM marketing success.

Principle #5 – The Feeder Is The Leader And The Leader Is The Feeder

Once you feed yourself the best of the best, feed your team! When you feed your team be mindful not to be too responsible. Robert Crisp said, “The Feeder may not be able to make you eat but they can put the food on the table.” As the leader and the feeder, it is on you to know what to feed to who in the right amounts at the right time. As your team grows you will have a combination of taste and palates to feed. Your newbies deserve to feel welcomed and valued. Your newbies definitely deserve to know what to expect from you in the way of support, training, and inspiration. It is important for you to set a level of expectation for their initial goal getting and MLM marketing success training. Your producers are happy, making money and experiencing success so they’re full and may want a little dessert. Your busy no-money makers are busy blogging, researching the best SEO techniques, doing yoga, listening to personal growth cds, reading books all day BUT they are not prospecting and recruiting. They are making no money and it’s on you to feed them the right combination of food to get them to the next level of real production. If they don’t eat the meal it’s not on you, just put the food on the table! Discouraged distributors have doubts and lack commitment and your negative distributors have stinking thinking because they haven’t implemented Principle #1 “You Must Not Let Your Past Predict Your Future!” and Principle #4 – Feed Yourself First. As the feeder and leader you’ll become a master chef at providing the best culinary experience for different individuals on your team. Robert had a Five Year Business and Leadership Development Program to keep his entire team focused on continuing education and personal growth. This is definitely something only serious network marketers do.
