There’s no such thing as unrealistic goals, there are only unrealistic time frames. Most people don’t set goals at all and only about 3% of people set goals effectively. There’s an opposite for everything so if your goal setting isn’t effective, it is defective.

Make Your Goals Specific, Very Specific – When you go to a restaurant and your waiter asks you what are you having, do you reply with a general statement, “I’m having a seafood dinner,” or “I’m having salad,” or “I’m having a low cal meal,” or “I’m having all 6 basic food groups” or worst “Just give me whatever.” Then you’re pissed off because your waiter gave you the best steak in the house. Why are you upset? Because you’re a vegetarian! This is how most people set or unset goals. Most people know exactly what they really want and because of low self esteem and conditioning, they don’t get intentional and set clear, specific goals. Because of this, many people end up with “whatever” because “whatever” is what they ordered. Getting whatever happens on a deep subconscious level and getting whatever continues because it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.
